0000 As we know, Artificial Intelligence is applicable to many fields of research. One of the most important is the detection of diseases in their initial stages or even without having begun to develop. This favors the implantation of better treatments in order to obtain a better quality of life of the patient and the increase in the possibilities of healing completely eliminating the pathology. Nowadays, the researches are focusing on degenerative diseases (such as osteoporosis, parkinsonism or the famous breast cancer), since they are some of the most abundant and also offer quite easiness in the search for markers that indicate their possible presence. These markers may simply consist of a particular configuration of a gene, abnormal levels of a specific hormone, or a changing behaviour of the immune system. For these reasons it is really hard to achieve tests that consider all these situations without using any intelligent functionality. Thus, applying artificial intelligence techniques, heuristics can be established (instructions with a certain logic capable of discarding irrelevant information during data analysis) and also detection of patterns to be followed by the software. In this way, time is obtained in the analysis and it is easier to find these parameters. In my personal opinion I must say that this is a new field which is still unexploited. Many of the diseases that affect humans have not been sufficiently studied to know which markers to look for or which behaviours of our body they alter, while others like the alzehimer are being known little by little and are expected to be achieved treatments in a few years.
